BIOGRAPHY

Marcus Valentine's new album “Valentine's Day Part II” (The History of Soul) is again, an eclectic mix of classic soul with a 21st Centry twist.

After 5 years in the wilderness the artist had to do a bit of soul searching in a bid to better his debut album. Not an easy feat, especially following the efforts of Producer Carl Harms, who called time on his music career in Ireland to carve out more music opportunities in the UK.

Valentine was left with the mammoth task of finding a Co-Producer to help him come up with something that could stand up to the previous work, continuing his appreciation of classic R&B artists both past and present who were largely responsible aswell as influencial in getting him started in music.

The Kings & Queens of Soul and contempory music such as Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Burt Bacharach, Marvin Gaye, Roberta Flack, Dionne Warwick, Danny Hathaway, Michael McDonald, Teddy Pendergrass and many more gave MV the exquisite pleasure of dedicating both concept albums to all these great legends.

Valentine is now working with The 21st Centurions featuring 'Bubble' London born rapper who's chav style compliments the music and CJ Peeton, dance music specialist from Hungary who accidently came across Valentine's Day in 2007 and seemingly liked what he heard but not even he could predict that a few years down the road they'd actually be working side by side helping to Co-Produce this Dark yet uplifting funtastic raw effort that any Soul purist would be crazy to miss out on.
